I grew up in church. I knew the stories, I knew the scriptures, and I knew all the right things to say. But it wasn't until I was 43 years old that I finally realized something was wrong. There was a hole in me that nothing in this world could fill. Not success, not comfort, not routine, not religion. So one day, I stopped running and gave it all to Jesus, my will, my wants, my way of living. Ever since then, my life has looked completely different. And I have no doubt that I will spend eternity with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
I started teaching Adult Sunday School and discipleship classes at my church. A few years ago, the Lord put it on my heart to reach others outside the four walls of my church, to people just like you. I started with one-on-one Christian life coaching and eventually expanded into digital ministry, sharing what I write and teach under the name C.S. Elliott, because I wanted to share the same peace, joy, and love I've experienced every single day since I gave my life to Christ.
That's what Deeper Pursuit is. A place to help you draw closer to Jesus, whether you've been in church your whole life and are wondering if there's something more, or you're just starting to figure out who He is. I don't have it all figured out yet. But I know the God who does. And I'd love to walk alongside you as you go deeper in your own pursuit of Him.
